The name of the book I read is called "The magicians Nephew". The author of the book is C.S. Lewis, and the date of publication is 1983. this book contains 221 pages and is about Digory Kirke, Polly Plummer, Uncle Andrew, and Jadis the evil witch. Digory lives with his uncle andrew because his mom is very sick, and Polly and Digory go to other worlds such as narnia because of uncle Andrew. Polly helps Digory help Aslan save Narnia. Uncle Andrew is an evil magician who made them go to different worlds. Jadis is the evil witch who wants take over Narnia. Now Digory and Polly have to save Narnia from Jadis.

The Magicians Nephew is about this one boy and his friend, Polly, trying to save their world and Narnia. His uncle is the person who made these rings to transport them there. First they go to this one world and meet a witch who ends up following them to their world and Narnia to try to take over. Now all they have to do is get the witch out of Narnia by helping the king, Aslan. Then the kids end up saving Digory's mom and Narnia becomes its own world, but Jadis is still left in Narnia.

I think this book was great because it had so much adventure in it. Like when Polly and Digory went into different worlds and found the witch. I think kids my age would love it also because their old enough to understand it better. I usually don't like fantasy books, but this book was very surprising. I thought it was also good because I liked how the children went to Narnia and how the animals were talking. I can't wait to read the next book and find out what happens to the witch and Narnia. I think all the books will be great because some of the movies were really good too.
