The book I read was Gregor The Overlander, This book was written by Suzanne Collins the publication date was September 2003, and there are 308 pages. Some of most important characters are: Gregor: An eleven year-old boy from New York city Boots: Gregor's 2-year-old sister they call her Boots because when winter arrives winter she steals everyone's boots and runs around with them but her real is Margaret, she is named after her grandmother also named Margaret. Luxa: is going to be the Queen of the Underland, she is also the same age of Gregor. Henry: Luxa's cousin who is a traitor to the humans and joins the rats.

This book is about Gregor a boy who lives in New York City and his sister boots also known as Margaret. One day they both went to the Laundry room and then fell in to the Underland. And they both were taken to the city Regalia. Eventually Gregor learns that, according to the "Prophecy of Gray," a group of Underlanders and Overlanders he and his sister will set out into dangerous territory controlled by giant rats, in order to rescue an Overland prisoner, which could be Gregor his long-lost father. Their was twelve individuals on this endeavor seven have lost their lives but the prophecy needed one person to fulfill it and it was Henry, Luxa’s cousin he betrayed the humans and joined the rats and he died. And Gregor and Boots found their Dad and went back to their house in New York City.

Gregor the Overlander is an exciting book with mysteries and action. It has plenty of detail and is well written. You can tell what people think and feel. This book is one of the best fantasy books I have read. There is no shortage of action and lots of interesting creatures.
