People have always believed in intelligent life on other planets. One day everyone on earth knew it was true . One night a bright red object fell out of the night sky. The next day an army general named Ogilvy led his squad to the crash site of the ship that fell out of the sky. The ship looked like something covered in mushrooms. Then suddenly something in the ship attacked them. Ogilvy had a squad of eighty men and it out with five.
Ogilvy came back to the Army base to tell the others what happened. To defend the planet Ogilvy 's army declared war on the aliens. The Martians retreated but some of the martians stayed behind mysteriously.
Ogilvy and his friend Snippy and the soldiers were told that the Martians stayed behind were the rebels. They tried to stop other worlds from being conquered by the Martians empire . The Martian technology for surpassed human technology . So they combined their war methods in hopes that it would fend off the next Martian attack. The martians began the attack, they were outmatched and retreated. The retreated. The real battle has only begun. The main character were Mos, Ogilvy , Snippy, and the Martian leader. This is a great book. I recommend this book to people than like sci-fi action and twist endings.
