TheSeries of Unfortunate Events is a book about a very unfortunate family named the Boudelaires'. These children's parents parished in a fire and they have had very bad luck finding a safe place and relative to live with. They finally find a safe place with their Uncle Monty who is a scientist. He studies snakes. Count Olaf is bound and determined to kill the children and get their fortune. Uncle Monty is unaware of this situation though. So when the intruder shows up Uncle Monty doesn't realize it. Are the Boudelaire's in danger? Read the book to find out...
Lemony Snicket is a very mysterious author. He constantly keeps you on the edge of your seat and never wanting to stop reading until you are done with the book. I have read two of the thirteen books and I plan on reading them all! He will stop you right before a suspenseful part just to make you want to keep going. But as he tells the story, he uses words that make you wonder and want to search the word up. i highly recommend this book to boys and girls from fourth grade to eight. Especially if you love mysteries and orphan children constantly running from death.
