My book is called A Series of Unfortunate Events The Bad Beginning . The author who wrote this is named Lemony Snicket. It was published in 1999. It has one hundred and sixty two pages. The three most important charecters in the book are Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Bauderlaire. Violet is the oldest one of the three brothers and sisters. Klaus, was the middle child that wore glasses to look intelligent but he was really intelligent. Then there is Sunny, the youngest one in the group. She likes to bite things.

This book was about three children that were at the beach when they found out that their parents had died. So the they had to go to a relative close to them so they went with a person named Count Olaf. He was a mean person to the kids and to everybody else. He only wanted them because he found out that they had a very big fortune so he wanted the money. Then Count Olaf was going to do a play for his friends so he asked Violet to be his wife on the play and in real life so his friends would be impresses. But Violet said no then he got Sunny and put her in a bird cage and put here in a tree with a rope so if Violet didn't be his wife Sunny would die but then Violent says yes. But then when they are at the play Justice Strauss found out and so then Count Olaf went to jail

I loved about this book is that it was always exciting and when you thought you knew what was going happen something else happened that you wouldn't ever think about. I liked that it was always something new that came out of no where. I think others my age would love this book because it was mysterious so you would always have to guess what happens next and read the book carefully so you understand who is who and get the story really good. I liked the part when they are at the play and Justice Strauss finds out what Count Olaf was doing because if he didnt the Bauderlaire children could of lost there lives.
