The title of the book is is called Ender's Game. The author is Orson Scott Card. The date of publication February 2002, and the number of pages is 324. The three most important characters are Ender, whose real name is Andrew wiggins, his sister Valentine, and his brother Peter. Ender is a third child which was against the law in Enders world. However the government approved Enders birth, hoping that he would turn out to be the warrior they were looking for.Ender is six years old, very smart and a superior warrior. Valentine is the middle sibling, also very intelligent but too nice for the government's needs. Peter, the oldest brother, is intelligent but very mean. He always bullies Ender.
This book is about how aliens, called buggers, have tried to take over the world twice now. They have not succeeded. The world government is looking for the perfect warrior and leader to lead the army and fight the Buggers. The world government thinks Ender, the six year old boy, is the perfect one. Ender agrees to leave his family and train at the Battle School. He is the best warrior, and outsmarts the others with his clever mind. He keeps advancing to higher levels in Battle School, and eventually becomes a leader at age thirteen. Ender wins the battle in the third bugger attack on Earth! But in the end, Ender finds out that the humans attacked the bugger first! Later, Ender finds the Bugger's queen egg, and takes it someplace safe, where no one will ever find it.
I really did enjoy this story. It had a lot of action in it. I liked reading about the battles that took place between the troops in Battle School. It was exciting to find out how Ender would outsmart his opponents each time, even though he was so young. The book had bad language in it, but it was used in a humorous way. I think other people my age would enjoy the humor and action in this story. I thought this book had a great twist ending. The humans attacked the buggers first, rather than the other way around. I also liked the fact that Ender found the queen egg, so that I am hoping there may be a sequel to this book.
