Montag thought his job was the best. That is until he went to a lady's house to burn her books. The woman who owned the books wouldn't leave without her books, so the firemen burned her alive with her books. From that point on, Montag didn't like his job anymore. Eventually, Montag's fire crew finds out that he has a stash of books in his house. Montag got mad at his fire chief, so he burned him with a flamethrower. Montag ran away. At the end, Montag finds a group of friends and they travel together.
I thought this book was the best science fiction book ever. The book was good because of the feeling it made you feel. While I was reading Fahrenheit 451, I felt scared, excited, sad, and happy. I got excited when Montag killed Captain Beatty with the flamethrower. I felt sad when Montag's wife abandoned him. I felt happy at the end when, Guy Montag made friends. I think that everyone willbe able to appreciate this book. This book has good similies and metaphors. I hope others enjoy it like I did.
