Young Authors |
Each year
students from Holy Rosary School participate in the Oakland
Diocese Young Author's Faire. Books are submitted to
classroom teachers in March or April, and awards are held
each year in May at one of the diocesan schools. Over 26 schools
participate in this activity and Holy Rosary has many
submissions and winners.
Students
from Pre-K to 8 are encouraged to enter a book. Holy Rosary
requires a book submission for 2nd, 3rd, and 6th grades.
There are many genres to choose from!
Each book
must follow guidelines on format, binding, and also include
an acknowledgement of the provided help. For more details
