At Holy Rosary School, our Catholic faith is the foundation of everything we do. We are committed to nurturing the spiritual growth of our students, helping them develop a personal relationship with Christ, and guiding them to live as disciples of the Gospel. Faith is not just taught—it is lived. From daily prayers to service projects, from engaging liturgies to the practice of Gospel values, we aim to cultivate a deep, lasting relationship with God in every student. Our goal is to form young disciples who are committed to living out their faith with love, integrity, and service to others.
We begin every school day with prayer, inviting students to start their day with God. In addition to morning prayer, students engage in reflections that encourage them to grow in their relationship with Christ, whether individually, in small groups, or with the entire school community.
As a Catholic school, we gather regularly for All-School Masses and prayer services to celebrate important feasts and liturgical seasons. These celebrations bring our students together in worship, fostering a sense of community while deepening their understanding of the Church’s teachings.
Living out the Gospel through service is a key aspect of our students’ spiritual growth. Students across all grades are invited to participate in service projects that benefit the local and global community. Whether organizing food drives, visiting the elderly, or volunteering for parish events, our students learn the importance of giving back with a heart of compassion and love.
Our comprehensive Religious Education curriculum provides students with a solid foundation in Catholic doctrine, Scripture, and the teachings of the Church. Students learn about the life of Jesus, the Sacraments, and the lives of the saints, with the goal of preparing them to live their faith every day. In addition, students are guided in the practice of prayer, including learning traditional prayers, as well as age-appropriate prayers of thanksgiving and supplication.
We offer opportunities for students of all ages to engage in spiritual retreats and enrichment days. These allow for a time for reflection, prayer, and growing in the understanding of God’s love. Whether it’s an intimate retreat for younger students or a more in-depth experience for our middle school students, these moments provide opportunities for personal growth and connection with Christ.
We celebrate key Catholic holidays such as Advent, Lent, and Catholic Schools Week with special events and activities that help students connect with the liturgical calendar. From preparing for the birth of Christ at Advent to participating in works of charity during Lent, these celebrations provide meaningful opportunities for spiritual reflection and community-building.
For students in second grade, sacramental preparation is an important part of their faith journey. We partner with families to prepare students for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion, helping them deepen their understanding of God's grace and love through these life-changing encounters with the Lord.
